GENERAL TERMS

1. Prepayment Requirement

All studio bookings require prepayment to confirm your reservation. Your booking is only secured once the payment is fully processed.

2. VAT

The applicable Spanish VAT rate of 21% will be added to all bookings.

3. Invoices

During checkout, you will be asked if you would like an invoice for your booking. Please check the box marked "YES" and ensure that your company details are provided accurately. An invoice will be sent to your provided email address within 1-3 days after booking confirmation.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

4. Rescheduling

You are allowed to reschedule your booking once free of charge up to 72 hours before your scheduled session. Rescheduling requests after this period may incur additional charges or may not be possible, depending on studio availability.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations made up to 72 hours before your scheduled session will be fully refunded. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session.

STUDIO SPACE USAGE & DAMAGES

6. Damages to Studio or Equipment

Any damages to the studio space or equipment resulting from negligence or misuse will be the responsibility of the client. The cost of repairs or replacements for damaged items will be covered by the client.

Note: When renting a camera or equipment add-ons from our studio, clients are responsible for all settings and operation. Studio staff do not provide assistance with camera/equipment setup or usage.

7. Missing Items and Equipment

The person who made the booking is solely responsible for all items and equipment used during the rental period. This includes ensuring that all furniture, equipment, and provided amenities are present and accounted for at the end of the session. If any item is found to be missing and is not returned within 48 hours, the booking holder will be responsible for locating and returning the item. If the item is not returned, the booking holder will be charged the full replacement cost plus a penalty fee of €100 per item. We reserve the right to charge the card used for the booking or issue an invoice for the total amount due.

INCLUDED IN YOUR BOOKING:

8. Your studio rental includes the use of:

  • Furniture: All furniture in the studio space is included.

  • Equipment: All equipment in the studio space is provided.

  • Included Services: Nespresso Creatista Coffee Machine, Nespresso Coffee Capsules, Oatly (Oat Milk), Water, Cups & Glasses, Professional Steamer, Bluetooth Speaker, Extension Cord, Internet/Wi-Fi, Air Conditioning, Toilet & Shower, Cleaning, and Fan.

  • Exclusions: The office space, where our hosts and owners work, is not included in your studio rental.

STUDIO RULES

9. Shoe Policy

To maintain the condition of the studio floor, mats, and furniture, we have a no-shoes policy. Models are allowed to wear shoes, but they must ensure that the shoes and soles are clean.

10. Children and Pets

Children under the age of 10 are not allowed in the studio. If children under 10 are brought to the studio, you will not be allowed entry, and no refund will be issued. Pets are not allowed in the studio under any circumstances. If a pet is brought, you will not be allowed entry, and no refund will be issued.

11. Prohibited Content (Adult & Sexual Content)

The production, creation, recording, or depiction of pornographic, adult, erotic, sexualized, or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited in the studio.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Pornographic or adult content of any kind

  • Soft porn or erotic content

  • Sexual acts or simulations

  • Full or partial nudity intended to be sexualized

  • Fetish content or sexually suggestive performances

  • Any activity that may reasonably be considered sexual in nature

  • The studio may not be used for escort-related content, adult platforms, or similar services.

If studio staff or the host determine that this rule is being violated, the session will be immediately terminated without refund, and the client will be asked to leave the premises. We reserve the right to deny future bookings at our discretion.

12. Smoking and Fire

Smoking and the use of open flames or fire are strictly prohibited in the studio.

13. Studio Capacity

The studio can accommodate up to 20 people at a time. Larger groups may require prior approval and incur additional charges.

14. Events or pop-ups

Our standard studio bookings are to be used for media productions only and are not to be used for hosting parties, events, or pop-ups. If you wish to book the studio for an event, please contact us by email with more information and we will review your request.

15. Lost & Found

If you leave an item behind in the studio, please contact us at info@paroastudio.com with a description of the item. We will hold it safely for you, and you can arrange a pickup.

16. Arrival Time

Please arrive on time for your session. We have back-to-back bookings, so we cannot accommodate early arrivals. Preparation time must be accounted for within your booked hours.

17. Studio Host Presence

A host will always be available during your session to ensure everything is in order. The host will work in the office space, but will be available should you need assistance.

18. Private Space Use

The studio is not available for exclusive private use. While there are doors for privacy, the host may enter at any time if they observe anything unusual or concerning.

19. Video Surveillance

For security and protection of the premises, Paoroa Studio SL operates video surveillance systems in designated areas of the studio.

By entering the studio, clients and visitors acknowledge the presence of video surveillance in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Recordings are not used for commercial purposes and are processed exclusively for security-related reasons, as described in our Privacy Policy.

20. Extending Your Booking

If you need additional time, let us know. If there is availability, you may extend your booking at the rate of €90.00 per hour (excluding VAT). However, extension availability is not guaranteed, and payment for the additional time must be made before leaving the studio.

21. Food and Drink

Food is not provided in the studio. You are welcome to bring your own or order delivery through services like Glovo or Uber Eats. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets. Drinks are included with your booking: Nespresso coffee, oat milk, and water.

22. Weather Conditions

Weather conditions are beyond our control. We recommend photographers bring their own lighting gear on dark or rainy days. We also offer lighting equipment for rental. If you would like to rent equipment, please email us at info@paroastudio.com.

MONTHLY PASSES - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Subscription & Payment

1.1 Monthly Passes

The Paoroa Studio Monthly Passes are recurring monthly subscriptions that provide access to a set number of studio hours per billing cycle, depending on the pass selected at checkout. Available passes may include the Creator Pass, Content Pass and Brand Pass, each with its own monthly price, included studio hours and redeemable booking options as stated at checkout.

1.2 Monthly Fee

The selected Monthly Pass is charged automatically every month at the rate shown at checkout.

1.3 Minimum Commitment

All Monthly Passes have a minimum commitment of 3 months. By subscribing, the client agrees to complete the first 3 monthly payments.

1.4 Automatic Renewal

After the initial 3-month commitment, the Monthly Pass will continue to renew automatically every month until cancelled.

1.5 Non-Refundable Payments

Monthly Pass payments are non-refundable once charged. Unused hours, missed bookings, late cancellations, no-shows, or lack of availability for a preferred date/time do not entitle the client to a refund.

1.6 Non-Transferable

The Monthly Pass is personal to the subscribing client or company and may not be transferred, shared, resold, or used by another person or business without prior written approval from Paoroa Studio.

2. Monthly Hours & Usage

2.1 Included Studio Hours

Each Monthly Pass includes the number of studio hours stated at checkout per billing cycle. As a general reference: Creator Pass: 2 studio hours per month
Content Pass: 4 studio hours per month
Brand Pass: 8 studio hours per month The exact hours and conditions are those stated at checkout at the time of purchase.

2.2 Monthly Reset

Studio hours reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. Unused hours do not roll over to the following month.

2.3 No Rollover or Extension

Unused hours cannot be refunded, transferred, accumulated, extended, or exchanged for other services.

2.4 Booking Flexibility

Monthly Pass hours may be used in one booking or split across multiple bookings during the same billing cycle, depending on the pass selected, studio availability, and the booking types made available through the studio booking system.

2.5 Redeemable Booking Types

Bookings must be made according to the redeemable booking durations available for each pass. As a general reference: Creator Pass: redeemable as 1 × 2H booking per billing cycle.
Content Pass: redeemable as 1 × 4H booking or 2 × 2H bookings per billing cycle.
Brand Pass: redeemable through the available 2H, 3H, 4H, 6H and 8H booking types, up to 8 hours per billing cycle. Available booking types may vary depending on the studio booking system and current pass structure.

2.6 Partial-Hour Bookings

Partial-hour bookings are not available unless explicitly stated.

2.7 Subject to Studio Availability

The Monthly Pass gives the client access to the included studio hours per billing cycle, but it does not reserve specific dates or time slots automatically. All sessions must be booked through the studio calendar and are subject to studio availability. Clients are encouraged to book in advance to secure preferred dates and times.

3. Eligible Bookings

3.1 Studio Use

The Monthly Pass is valid for Monday-Saturday studio bookings only, unless otherwise approved in writing by Paoroa Studio.

3.2 Excluded Uses

The Monthly Pass is not valid for Sundays, holidays, events, large-team productions, or special production bookings unless previously approved by Paoroa Studio.

3.3 Standard Studio Rental Only

The Monthly Pass applies to standard studio rental hours only. Additional services, add-ons, equipment rentals, production support, damages, overtime, or other extras are not included unless explicitly stated.

3.4 Standard Studio Booking Inclusions

All Monthly Passes include everything included in a standard Paoroa Studio booking, according to the studio’s current booking inclusions. This may include access to the natural light studio, selected furniture and props, basic studio equipment, changing and make-up areas, water, coffee and standard studio amenities. Specific inclusions may be updated from time to time.

3.5 Studio Rules Apply

All bookings made with a Monthly Pass are subject to Paoroa Studio’s general Studio Terms & Conditions, including capacity, damages, conduct, studio rules, cancellations, amenities, and use of the space.

4. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellations

4.1 Booking Process

Clients must book their sessions through the studio booking system or using the redemption method provided after subscribing.

4.2 Booking Code

After subscribing, the client may receive a unique booking or redemption code by email. This code must be used when booking sessions through the studio calendar so the corresponding hours can be deducted from the Monthly Pass balance.

4.3 Advance Booking Recommended

We recommend booking sessions in advance. Studio availability is not guaranteed, especially for last-minute bookings.

4.4 Rescheduling

Clients may reschedule a booking once free of charge, provided the request is made at least 72 hours before the scheduled session.

4.5 Late Rescheduling

Rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours before the scheduled session may be denied or treated as a late cancellation.

4.6 Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 72 hours before the session will return the booked hours to the client’s available Monthly Pass balance for that same billing cycle.

4.7 Late Cancellations

Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the session will result in the booked hours being forfeited.

4.8 No-Show Policy

If the client does not attend a scheduled booking, the booked hours will be considered used and will not be returned to the Monthly Pass balance.

4.9 Expiring Hours After Cancellation or Rescheduling

If hours are returned to the client’s Monthly Pass balance after an eligible cancellation or rescheduling, they must still be used within the same billing cycle. Returned hours do not roll over to the following billing cycle.

5. Overtime & Additional Hours

5.1 Overtime

If a session exceeds the booked time, additional time will be charged at Paoroa Studio’s standard overtime rate, subject to studio availability.

5.2 Overtime Rate

Overtime is charged at €90 per hour, excluding VAT, unless otherwise stated or agreed in writing.

5.3 Additional Hours

Additional studio hours outside the Monthly Pass balance are not included and must be paid separately at the applicable studio rate.

5.4 Payment of Extras

Any overtime, add-ons, damages, or additional services must be paid before leaving the studio or upon receipt of the corresponding invoice.

6. Cancellation of the Monthly Pass

6.1 Cancellation After Minimum Commitment

The Monthly Pass may be cancelled after the initial 3-month commitment has been completed.

6.2 Cancellation Notice

To cancel the Monthly Pass, the client must cancel the subscription through their account or notify Paoroa Studio before the next billing date.

6.3 No Partial Refunds

Cancellation does not generate a refund for the current billing cycle. The client may continue using any remaining hours until the end of the active billing cycle.

6.4 Early Cancellation

If the client cancels before completing the 3-month minimum commitment, Paoroa Studio reserves the right to charge the remaining amount due for the initial commitment period.

6.5 Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Paoroa Studio may suspend access to the Monthly Pass and any related booking privileges until payment is completed. If payment is not resolved, Paoroa Studio reserves the right to cancel the subscription and charge any remaining amount due for the initial commitment period, if applicable.

7. VAT & Invoicing

7.1 VAT Inclusion

All Monthly Pass prices are subject to 21% Spanish VAT, which is included in the listed price unless stated otherwise.

7.2 Invoices

If you require an invoice, please send your billing details to info@paoroastudio.com. Invoices will be sent by email within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.

7.3 Billing Details

The client is responsible for providing correct billing information. Paoroa Studio is not responsible for delays caused by missing or incorrect billing details.

8. Changes to the Monthly Pass

8.1 Policy Updates

Paoroa Studio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.

8.2 Price or Structure Changes

Any future changes to pricing, included hours, eligible bookings, redeemable booking types, or pass conditions will not affect the client’s already-paid billing cycle. Changes may apply to future billing cycles with prior notice.

8.3 Pass Availability

Paoroa Studio reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue any Monthly Pass option for future purchases. Active subscribers will be notified of any changes that may affect their future billing cycles or renewal conditions.

9. Agreement
